We noticed the gap.
Students were using AI without understanding it. Teachers were being asked to respond without enough support. Local organizations knew AI mattered, but not where to begin.
Our story
LearnAI started with a simple frustration: the tools shaping our future were becoming more powerful, while learning how to use them still felt expensive, intimidating, or vague.

Local on purpose. Open to everyone.
The beginning
Students were using AI without understanding it. Teachers were being asked to respond without enough support. Local organizations knew AI mattered, but not where to begin.
Our first educational work has happened through social media: plain-English ideas, practical examples, and an invitation to keep asking questions.
Our first in-person workshop is planned for the next few months, while the broader curriculum remains openly in development.
What makes us different
We care less about sounding impressive and more about whether someone leaves feeling capable.
No one figures AI out alone. We share what we know on social media now and are building future workshops with the community in mind.
Everything we share today on social media is free. We intend to keep future lessons and workshop resources free too.
Forsyth County first. We meet people where they are — schools, libraries, businesses, kitchen tables.
One mission, four doorways
AI literacy changes shape depending on who is in the room. We meet each group where they are.
our main focus
Beginner-friendly social content now, with future workshops and mentorship being designed for middle and high school students.
bring AI into classrooms
Future teacher sessions focused on practical tools, honest classroom questions, and responsible AI use.
partner + support
Planned practical sessions for local business owners who want to understand AI without the hype.
advocate + grow awareness
Work with local leaders, schools, and libraries to push for support that makes AI education more accessible.
Forsyth first. We are building depth in one community before chasing scale everywhere else.
